Cephalon Tops Philadelphia Business Journal Lists
Based on 2009 fiscal year revenue, Cephalon comes in ninth among pharmaceutical companies and 17 among public companies in the Philadelphia Business Journal’s annual rankings. On the list of the fastest-growing public companies, Cephalon ties at the 9/10 spot, based on weighted growth score percentage—a combination of revenue and employee growth. The rankings were published in the journal’s print editions and are compiled in its 2011 Book of Lists.
French-American Chamber Honors Dr. Baldino
Cephalon Chairman and CEO Frank Baldino, Jr., Ph.D., receives the Annual Award for Outstanding Contributions to French-American Business Relations from the Philadelphia Chapter of the French-American Chamber of Commerce (FACC). FACC is supported by 400 globally minded American and French business leaders in the Philadelphia area.
Cephalon Rises 122 Positions on 2010 Fortune 1000
On the Fortune 1000 list for 2010, Cephalon ranks 781, compared to 903, which was the company’s rank on the 2009 list. Based on revenues alone, the rankings include any companies incorporated in the U.S. for which revenues are publicly available.
Cephalon Ranked Among Top 20 Innovators
Cephalon ranks 14 among innovators in the latest quarterly Innovation Index of pharmaceutical and medical device industries by the stock research firms Innovaro Strategos and the wRatings Corporation. The Innovation Index, released May 2010, compares healthcare companies with those in food and beverage and consumer electronics.
