THE ONCOLOGY NURSING SOCIETY FOUNDATION PARTNERSHIP
Cephalon has established a partnership with the Oncology Nursing Society (ONS) Foundation, the charitable arm of the ONS, which is the world’s largest professional oncology nursing association. The shared mission -- to improve cancer care and the lives of people with cancer – is made possible through the funding of oncology nursing research, scholarships, awards and educational programs.
This year, Cephalon teamed up with the ONS Foundation to create the program - Honoring those who fight the fight; joining forces with those who CARE. For every nurse who showed support of this credo with a signature at the ONS 34th Annual Congress, Cephalon made a donation to the Foundation to help continue their efforts in the areas of patient care and education.
“The Oncology Nursing Society Foundation is grateful for the generous support of Cephalon, and the creative ways that it has advanced our mission in serving cancer nurses through education, research, and leadership development…ultimately helping to improve cancer care for patients and their families everywhere,” said Margaret Hansen Frogge, RN, MS, President, ONS Foundation.
